⏰ Time with our fur-family is precious. I became acutely aware of this when I first started my business in 2013. One of my very first clients had a session scheduled in a couple of weeks, but she called me one day, her voice heavy with worry. She didn’t think her boy would make it to the session. He had chronic health issues and was nearing the end. 💔

I managed to fit her in the very next day. We spent a wonderful time down at the beach, and as I captured him gazing lovingly into his mum’s arms, the hairs on the back of my neck stood on end. I already knew how important these photos were.

The following day, she messaged me: Thank God we did that, because he is gone. I felt goosebumps all over again. I was heartbroken for her, but so grateful that I had the honour of immortalising her precious boy.
