After the session we will polish up your portraits. They will be presented to you at a private viewing in our studio while you enjoy a hot drink and some chocolates (yum!). We will tailor a wall-art design to best suit your home. You are welcome to bring along photographs of your walls to help us make the perfect match for you. Most of our clients invest at least £500 on wall art pieces and find that planning their design preferences ahead of their viewing really helps them make the most of their appointment. Our experts will always be on hand at the viewing to help you create something special but the more you think about the possibilities the smoother your viewing process will be. Choosing the final wall art pieces is the majority of our client’s favorite part – though that could be something to do with the chocolates!

It’s quite a common occurrence for us to do the entire shoot on a lead. The photographer will direct the shoot so that the lead is hidden wherever possible. If your dog usually wears a harness, please also bring a collar so we can remove the lead if it remains visible in any of the pictures that you would like us to frame up for you.
Even if your dog doesn’t know sit or stay commands, we have plenty of tricks to coax them into position and then grab their attention. They only need to be in position for a split second and we know exactly when to press the button.
Our shoots are usually held in local parks, woodlands and beaches. The Vouchers that we sell cover us traveling 30 miles from our studio at PR2, Preston and there is just a small travel charge for locations outside of the 30 mile radius. We will suggest locations that help to produce a varied set of images but we are open to suggestion if you have a special location in mind.
Our shoots are crafted to appear as natural as possible but provide you with the maximum variety of photographs from just an hours session. You will be involved in crafting the set ups to the best of your physical ability so it may be a good idea to bring an assistant. You could be throwing treats and toys towards the photographer before running out of the camera’s view or simply holding your dog from behind a tree. Whatever the action, you’ll learn that one more time can mean 10 more times but it’s all good fun and an experience you wont forget.
All of them! Most dog photographers will charge per dog but we insist that you bring your whole pack at no extra cost. Our biggest shoot to date consisted of 30 dogs but we regularly do groups of 10 and above. Even if it takes some Photoshop trickery to get the group shot, be assured, we will capture it for you.
Yes! Photographing a black dog is all about understanding the available light you are working with. All of our photographers have an advanced understanding of their equipment and the environments in which they are shooting in. Just take a look at the black dogs that we have in the ‘Our Work’ section of the website.
Of course! Dogs are apart of the family and you are the most important part of your dog’s life so it only makes sense that you or your family get to be in some of the pictures. Make sure you’re wearing clothes that you like or perhaps even coordinate your outfits but still dress appropriately for the weather.
After the shoot we take the images away and work on them to produce a slideshow of the very best shots. You’ll then be invited to our relaxed studio in Preston where you get to sit on our comfy sofa, have a hot or cold beverage and view them. During your viewing, We will go through all the frames and digital packs that we offer and you’ll even have the chance to design a collection, which is what we call multiple images in one frame.
Once you have a voucher, which you can purchase from our shop, all you need to do is call our bookings line on 07422 572335 or 01618 189512. We will need to know a little bit about you and your dog. The more information you can give us, the more we can tailor the shoot for you. It’s a good idea to measure up wall space and have a look through our portfolio or Facebook page so that you have a good idea of what you want out of your shoot.
An hours dog photography shoot is valued at £85 but that also entitles you to a complimentary digital image and covers us traveling up to 30 miles from our studio in Preston for a location. Head over to our shop to see the other packages that we offer.

You will be involved in crafting the set ups to the best of your physically ability so arranging for family and friends to assist on the shoot will be helpful.
You, your friends and family may want to be in some of the pictures so make sure you’re wearing clothes that you like or perhaps even coordinate your outfits but still dress appropriately for the weather.
You may be tempted to tire your dog out before the shoot but we would rather they have enough energy to be able to express themselves for the camera. We want to capture what it is that makes them so special to you.
Bring a selection of toys, treats or accessories that will help to get your dog’s attention and make your pictures unique. You could even give your dog a small breakfast so those treats look extra appetising!
If your dog usually wears a harness, bring a collar and lead as well so that we can easily edit out the lead from the final images if we need to.
Yes! Because the time and equipment involved varies depending on the animal and what you want from your photo shoot, the shoot cost also varies. We can wave the shoot cost entirely if you buy all of the digital image or a collection up front. Click ‘Ask The Team‘ above for our contact details to find out more.
We shoot in all sorts of weather conditions so come prepared. If it’s wet, you may want to bring an umbrella, wellies or even a towel for your dog and if it’s hot, make sure you bring water and perhaps a wet towel to cool your dog off! Every season and weather condition adds a different dynamic to your shoot making it a truly unique experience. In severe cases, we can move the shoot due to the weather but as the weather is so unpredictable, we like to wait an hour before the shoot before rearranging one.
To rearrange a booking, just call our booking line on 07422 572335. However, we do have a 5-day cancellation policy. After your shoot, we take a £15 deposit to reserve your viewing slot which is refundable if you attend your viewing appointment and is always redeemable on products.
